My name is Maike Pia Halfmann and I am studying media production with a focus on design at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe University of Applied Sciences in Detmold. I have been fascinated by nature, the Nordic countries and photography for years. But during my year abroad in Volda, Norway, in 2022, my enthusiasm turned into a real passion. In a photography course, I deepened my technical knowledge and spent every free minute exploring and capturing the breathtaking nature.

Photography is a way for me to document fascinating moments – whether in extraordinary places or while discovering the most spectacular nature. I look forward to realizing many exciting projects in the future and exploring the most impressive places in our world.
